Today my best friend of 22 years turns 27. Meghan and I have been through a lot over the past two decades: births, deaths, good times, bad times. Holidays and special occasions, summertime deck parties and snow days curled up with movies and junk food. Primary school, elementary school, high school, university. Boyfriends, other friends, the list goes on and on. We've been there for each other's biggest moments and shared in the little ones as well.
After all this time, after ups and downs and drifting apart and coming back together, we're still friends.
Happy birthday, Meggie. Here's to the next 22 years of friendship. :)
